post Christmas-

Still a few days before I get back to work. We've been enjoying the break with lots of skiing and Christmas cookies.
Here's Julie in the Vista Glades at Bolton.

We had my side of the family up on Christmas day and that was very nice. Sam's basketball team has the second game of the week today in Barre. They beat Spalding the last time they met and are hoping for a repeat.

Musically it's been a good week. I wrote another nice tune the other day and continue to collect songs for a forth coming album in the spring. The Mondo-Fun album I did with Sean (Raquel's Boys) made Beverly Paterson's Twist and Shake top ten list for 2007.

Christmas Break

2 Days till' Christmas... The house is cleaned and the presents are wrapped. Somehow, we seem ahead of the game- maybe we are just getting more organized as we age or more likely we've forgotten some large "thing" associated with Christmas... well, either way Christmas is 2 days away and there's no denying it.

The George side of the family got together yesterday in Barre at Mark & Bonnie's. It was a very nice afternoon/evening with only one small episode of bad karma as the cousins quarreled over which dumb TV show to watch. All in all a fine family gathering with many yummy snacks to munch and some very nice red wine too! Here's a few pictures from the gathering. Sorry about the poor quality, these are from my cell phone.

My folks and sisters are coming up here to our house on Christmas day. I'll do another post then.

... and the Goose is getting fat

It's almost Christmas break and here at school the staff are swapping secret Santa gifts and consuming too many calories- tis the season! Although I've worked in schools since 2000' I don't always take part in the secret Santa fun. It's easy to just say that it's too much of a bother and just one more thing to remember at the busiest time of the year or that "I really don't need any more plastic crap made in china from the Christmas tree shop" but the truth is- it feels nice to walk in to your office and find some yummy short bread wrapped up in pretty ribbons on your desk. So... thank-you secret Santa for the happy treats and I look forward to tomorrows surprise.

So much snow, so little time....

This is fun...

On the sports news

Sam had a banner media day. Not only did he get his picture on the cover of the sports section of the Free Press but he made the six o'clock news. Here's a clip:

Blog -on!!!!

Well folks... this is my first blog entry...

Here's a link to my favorite web radio station: http://www.techwebsound.com/player.html

My son Sam plays Basket Ball on his HighSchool team and got his picture in the paper today- that was a proud moment. His team was crushed in the game and lost by 20 but he looks cool in the paper!

I'm gonna try to post a video now. This may or may not work...

This is a video of Pond skimming at Bolton last winter:

This is a family photo from when the kids were little. One of my favorite pics.

I'll end here and see how this looks posted..
